“I DREAD giving tough feedback!”

That was a student's confession when I asked a group about their biggest challenges at work. Having observed interns’ lesson plans and materials myself, I could immediately put myself in her shoes.

By coincidence, I’d recently watched a Harvard Business Review video in which Christine Liu said the same — and it turned into a good springboard for a classroom discussion.

If you teach Business English, ESP, or Conversation lessons, you might find this material useful. In it, I explore:

- insights from a Forbes article on fostering a culture of feedback,

- practical strategies for giving clear and respectful feedback,

- common workplace phrases, collocations, and idioms.

If you use it in another context, I’d be delighted to hear your thoughts — and, naturally, your feedback.

Until next time! (:
