I’ve recently had the pleasure of completing a series of online courses in Learning Experience Design (LXD) offered by the University of Michigan, led so thoughtfully by Professors Rebecca Quintana and Chris Quintana.
The experience has further informed my approach to instructional writing, giving me plenty to reflect on and apply in practice.
Alongside other research-informed resources in the field, the modules tackled:
The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework developed by CAST (Center for Applied Special Technology), with practical guidance on supporting learner engagement, representation, and expression.
The Disability Language Style Guide set forth by Arizona State University (also available in Spanish).
One of the most insightful pedagogy blogs I’ve come across this year: Online Teaching.
What other resources would you add to this ever-growing list?
